104 imagesThe Medical Team including the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Team and First Aid from St John Ambulance for the Brighton Marathon Weekend 2016 was led by Medical Director Dr Rob Galloway. Along with the St John Ambulance the team comprised of many volunteers from across Sussex including Doctors, Nurses, OPDs, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists. These photographs capture the setting up of the equipment and facilities for the day ahead at just one of the many treatment tents. The aim was to ensure the prompt and efficient treatment of runners requiring First Aid or Medical assistance during or on completion of the Brighton Marathon and the 10K race. What a team; outstanding commitment from these volunteers to support runners, spectators and officials on the day. Congratulations to Dr Rob Galloway and David Bowen for their excellent leadership skills during the months of preparation for the team and the delivery of an awesome service on the day. Well done to all in the team. Wow!
